“The Last Run” for Zalando
To promote winter sports fashion on Zalando in Switzerland, we gave the category the stage it deserved by writing snowboarding history. We invited former Olympic Champion Iouri Podladtchikov to drop into the halfpipe one last time—years after an injury had forced him into sudden retirement. A feel-good story for an entire nation.
In a fully integrated campaign, Iouri shared his journey and showcased the latest winter gear through curated edits on Zalando. He even designed a limited “Last Run” jacket. The result? The story dominated Swiss news cycles. And if you’re into that kind of thing: it picked up several creative awards along the way.
Personal highlight: Beyond the concept, live event ideas, and media assets, I had the honor of writing the final scene of the promotion trailer. Seeing it turn out exactly as epic as I had imagined was a true career milestone.
